What's the talk about?
This is the new, improved version of the event that we postponed when snow and rail strikes stopped play back in January. On that occasion we held an impromptu informal AGM/social instead.
We are daring to stage a debate on the contentious motion:
This House Believes That Abortion Should Be Illegal.
In the USA, this is a BIG ISSUE and has been the motive for murder and arson by extremists on both sides - 'Pro Life' and 'Pro Choice'.
Speaking for the motion are Abort67 officers Aisling Hubert and Andrew Stephenson
Speaking against the motion, Worthing SitP stalwarts John Richards and Steven Carrigan
The Chairman is former Mayor, Bob Smytherman, now Worthing's Town Crier.
This event will be professionally videod by Dave Benson Phillips.
Abortion IS currently legal in the UK but that Law is not supported by the membership of ABORT67, two of whom will argue their case on this occasion. They will bring their friends.
If you like to see a passionate argument you will love this!
Bring your feminist friends, your Evangelical friends, your sceptical friends, all are welcome!
£5 admission (Annual pass accepted). Bar open in the room.
